Mr John Patton, Tyanee, has been informed that his son, Private Archie Patton, aged 30, of the New Zealand Rifle Brigade, was killed in action on 12th October 1917. Private Patton emigrated thirteen years ago and was one of the first to volunteer in 1914. |
