11/06/2020 The 1901 census lists Manus Cushley as age 14 living with the family at house 82 in Bellaghy, Londonderry. Manus had left school and was working as a tailor. His father was an agricultural labourer.

30/12/2015 Private Manus Alexander Costello was serving with the 7th Battalion of the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers when he was killed in action on the 7th June 1917 near Ypres. He was 28 years old.
