The 1911 census lists a 16 year old George Gribbon, age 16, working as a servant for the Wilson family at house 1 in Ballydugennan, Cargin, County Antrim. He was born in Scotland. Ballydugennan lies south east of Toome.
Other newspaper reports suggest George Gribbon also lived in the Brecart, just east of Toome.
George enlisted in Hamilton, Scotland.
