On 25th June 1940, the three man crew of the Blenheim (Serial Number N3604) took off at 12:48 from RAF Sumburgh in the Shetland Islands. They were tasked with a ‘Stab’ operation - a patrol between Stavanger and Bergen attacking shipping and other targets of opportunity. |
