Mrs Gibson, Mill Cottage, Bellaghy, County Derry, has learned that her only brother, Sergeant Major James J Kelly, 1st Australian contingent, has been killed in action. He was first posted as missing, but is now officially reported killed. As a sergeant in the 1st Bushmen’s contingent, he served throughout the Boer War. |
