Mystery surrounds the fate of Private Thomas McMeekin (4912), 1st Battalion Royal Irish Rifles, formerly of Grange Mill Quarter, Toomebridge, who was reported missing on 9th May. McMeekin has 19 years’ service, several of which he spent in Africa and India. His brother, Mr Joseph McMeekin, 25 Charleville Avenue, Belfast, would be grateful for any news concerning him. |
