30/12/2015 The CWGC record Lance Corporal J Greer as the son of Mrs M Greer of Sprucebank, Portglenone, County. Antrim.
30/12/2015 Lance Corporal Joseph Greer is buried in Mont Huon Military Cemetery, Le Treport. Le Treport is a small seaport 25 kilometres north-east of Dieppe. It was an important hospital centre during the war.
30/12/2015 Lance Corporal Joseph Greer was serving with the 1st Battalion of the Gordon Highlanders in France when he died of wounds on 5th June 1918. He was 22 years old.
