The 1901 census lists Patrick as age 10, living with the family at house 1 in Brecart, Toome Upper, County Antrim. His father was a caretaker on a farm.

Private Patrick Henry was serving with the 7/8th Battalion of the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers when he was killed in action on Tuesday 9th October 1917 in France.
From the Belfast Newsletter dated 29th October 1917:
Private Patrick Henry, Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers, killed, was a son of Mr James Henry, Cloghogue, Toomebridge.
In his will he left all to his mother Mary who was living at Moneyglass, Toomebridge, County Antrim.
Last will and Testament of Private Patrick Henry, dated 8th May 1917:
In the event of my death, I give the whole of my property and effects to Mrs Mary Henry, mother, Moneyglass, Toomebridge, County Antrim. Signed Patrick Henry, Private, 30697. 8th Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers.
Private P Henry is buried in Croisilles British Cemetery, close to Arras in France.
