Summary
Francis McGlade was the son of Elizabeth McGlade. Francis was born in Maghera. Francis McGlade enlisted in in Belfast. He had formerly seen service with the Connaught Rangers (No 3656).Private Francis McGlade was serving with the 6th Battalion of the Royal Dublin Fusiliers when he was reported missing in action at Gallipoli on 10th August 1915. It was confirmed by a report in the Glasgow Evening Times on 16th December 1916 that Private Francis McGlade had been killed in action that day.
