Patrick McCusker was the son of Mary and John McCusker He was born about 1889 in Londonderry. It is believed Patrick McCusker had some connection with Tergarvil or Upperlands. Patrick McCusker enlisted in Glasgow. Gunner Patrick McCusker was serving with the 121st Battery of the Royal Field Artillery when he was killed in action on Monday 24th July 1916. He was 27 years old. Gunner McCusker is also commemorated on the Neilston War Memorial. Neilston is small village, south west of Glasgow.
