Summary      
Hugh Taylor was the son of Matthew and Bella Taylor. Hugh was born in Termoneeny, near Tobermore on 17th April 1896. He was one of eleven children, seven surviving. They were a farming family in Ballinahone. Hugh Taylor enlisted in Londonderry. Private served with the 12th Battalion of the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers for a time. Private Hugh Taylor was serving with the 9th Battalion of the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers when he was killed in action in Flanders on Thursday 6th December 1917.
