James Finnegan was the son of John and Catherine Finnegan. James was born in Bangor or Holywood, County Down about 1889. Private James Finnegan was serving with ‘B’ Company, 2nd Battalion of the Highland Light Infantry when he died on Wednesday 20th November 1918. He was 29 years old.
