Summary      
Daniel Love was a son of Henry and Sarah Love. He was born on 10th December 1894 in Magherafelt. He lived in Dunamoney, Magherafelt and worked on the family farm. Lance Corporal Daniel Love was serving with the 9th Battalion of the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers when he was killed in action on the first day of the Battle of the Somme on Saturday 1st July 1916. He was 21 years old.
