Summary      
Henry McNally was the second son of James and Catherine McNally. It is believed both parents died when the children were still young. It seems Henry attended St Columba’s Industrial School & Boatyard in Killybegs. Ordinary Seaman Henry McNally was serving on H.M.S. Monmouth when he died at sea off the coast of Chile on 1st November 1914 in the Battle of Coronel. He was 18 years old.

Summary      
The Memorial is situated centrally on The Hoe which looks directly towards Plymouth Sound. It is accessible at all times. Copies of the Memorial Register are kept at the Tourist Information Office at Island House.
