Summary
Thomas John Richardson was the youngest son of James and Mariah Richardson. He was born 24th June 1894. He was one of three children. They were a farming family that lived in Ballynagarve, Ballyronan. Thomas enlisted in Glasgow. Private Thomas Richardson was serving with the 2nd Battalion of the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers when he died of wounds in France & Flanders on Tuesday 31st July 1917.
St. Omer is a large town 45 kilometres south-east of Calais. Longuenesse is a commune on the southern outskirts of St. Omer. The Cemetery is approximately 3 kilometres from St Omer, beside the Wizernes (Abbeville) road (the D928), at its junction with the Rue des Bruyeres. There is a large car park to the rear of the cemetery.
