17/04/2016 Mrs Sutton of Drumagarner House, Kilrea has been informed that her son, Able Seaman Frank Edward Sutton, went down in H.M.S. Black Prince in a naval engagement in the North Sea.

28/03/2016 Frank Edward Sutton was the second son of William Robert and Elizabeth Sutton. Frank was born on 17th November 1890 in Portsmouth.
28/03/2016 Frank is also commemorated on St Cuthbert’s Church WW1 Memorial, Copnor, Portsmouth.
28/03/2016 Able Seaman Frank Sutton is commemorated on the Portsmouth Naval Memorial.
28/03/2016 Able Seaman Frank Edward Sutton died on 13st May 1916 when the ship was lost at the Battle of Jutland.
