01/09/2016 The CWGC record Private Caskey as the son of Marshall Caskey, of Ballinameen, Garvagh, Co. Derry.
01/09/2016 Private Marshall Caskey has no known grave and is commemorated on Thiepval Memorial.
01/09/2016 Private Marshall Caskey was serving with the 1st Battalion of the Royal Scots Fusiliers when he was killed in action on 23rd July 1916. He was 20 years old

01/09/2016 It seems a great tragedy befell the family on 5th December 1887. Three of the children died in the space of two days. Jane died aged 6, Archibald died aged 4 and Nancy died aged 1.
