30/01/2016 Allan enlisted in Omagh. He was living in Desertmartin at the time.
30/01/2016 Allan McIvor was the second son of John James and Lavinia McIvor. John James McIvor married Lavinia Mulholland on 15th January 1886 in the district of Magherafelt.

30/01/2016 Private Allan McIvor was serving with the 2nd Battalion of the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers when he died of wounds at No 2 Field Ambulance in France of Pulmonary Collapse on Friday 10th March 1916. He was 22 years old.
30/01/2016 Private Allan McIvor is interred at Warloy-Baillon Communal Cemetery at the Somme. Warloy-Baillon is a village about 21 kilometres north-east of Amiens.
