Summary      
Thomas Guess was the son of Thomas and Elizabeth Guess. Thomas was born in the Desertmartin / Draperstown area on 15th May 1900. He was just 4 years old when his mother, Lizzie Guess, died on 22nd September 1904. The 1911 census lists Thomas as age 10 living with the Donnelly family, his aunt and uncle, at house 6 in Keenaght, Iniscarn, County Londonderry. Private (2nd Class) Thomas Guess was training with L Section, Recruits Training Wing of the Royal Air Force when he died on 20th October 1918. He was just 18 years old. Private Thomas Guess is buried in Keenaught Roman Catholic Churchyard, Desertmartin.
