Robert Jamison was born in Maghera. Robert was living in Upperlands when he enlisted in Coleraine. He was for a time with the Royal Irish Regiment. In his will of October 1916, Robert left all to his wife, Mrs Mary Jamison, who was living at Craigview Place, Grangepans, Bo'ness, Scotland. Private Robert Jamison was serving with the 1st Battalion of the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers when he was killed in action on 27th January 1917. Robert Jamison is listed on the WW1 Roll of Honour at William Clark & Sons Ltd in Upperlands as having died.
