Michael Curtis was the son of Michael and Margaret Curtis. Michael was born about 1876 in Londonderry. Michael Curtis enlisted in Draperstown, Co. Derry. Private Michael Curtis was serving with the 7/8th Battalion of the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers when he was killed in action on 21st March 1918. He was 42 years old. The CWGC records Private Michael Curtis as the son of Michael and Margaret Curtis of Ballinahone. He was also the husband of Mary Curtis of Ballinahone, Maghera, Co. Derry.
